A chadar on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was offered during the Urs of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at the Ajmer dargah on Wednesday.
A chadar on behalf of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was also presented.
The Urs commemorates the death anniversary of Chishti, one of the most notable Sufi saints who was also known as “Gharib Nawaz” or the benefactor of the poor, and draws a large crowd.
